Chapter 182: The Supernatural and Risks

The psychic duel between Tatsumaki and Apollo unleashes a violent earthquake that rattles the Hero Association headquarters, alarming the affluent residents above and alerting the staff to the turmoil below. Sensing he is outmatched, Apollo takes Fubuki hostage by telekinetically bursting a sleep capsule inside her stomach, one that a planted spy had slipped into her beauty supplements earlier, though Fubuki manages to partly fight off the drug. He then warns Tatsumaki that a second capsule of lethal poison sits inside her sister and orders her to stop resisting. Forced to obey, Tatsumaki is bound by his power. Apollo throws open the cages of Demon-level Mysterious Beings held on the floor beneath, meaning for them to slaughter everyone who witnessed the abduction of Psykos, Fubuki, and Tatsumaki.

As the monsters close in and Apollo prepares to leave with his spy, revealed as a false member embedded in the Blizzard Group, Saitama erupts through the floor entrance drenched in the creatures' blood and gore. The distraction lets Tatsumaki tear free. Apollo scrambles to crush the poison pill inside Fubuki, but it fails, because Tatsumaki has already located and neutralized it by matching the wavelength of his telekinetic signals, twisting the pill and its contents into a needle. She draws the needle out of her sister and drives it toward Apollo's face, severely poisoning him. Wanting to wring Tsukuyomi's secrets out of him, she imprisons Apollo inside a massive boulder of compacted rubble. When the spy tries to bolt, she slams him into the wall and knocks him out.

With both Tsukuyomi operatives beaten and the crisis over, the Blizzard Group rushes to Fubuki, worried and demanding to know what happened. Tatsumaki angrily silences them and berates the entire group, Fubuki included, blaming them for endangering her sister. She resolves to punish them into severing their bond with Fubuki, but just as she is about to strike, Saitama steps in to stop her.

The Tatsumaki and Apollo clash triggers an earthquake felt throughout the headquarters. Apollo takes Fubuki hostage using a drug and poison planted by his spy, forcing Tatsumaki to submit, then releases Demon-level monsters to kill the witnesses. Saitama bursts in after clearing the monsters below. Tatsumaki neutralizes the poison, turns it into a needle to poison Apollo, and captures both him and the spy. She then rounds on the Blizzard Group, only for Saitama to stop her punishment.

This is the 182nd chapter of the One-Punch Man manga, collected in Volume 36 during the Psychic Sisters Arc, and it partially draws on webcomic Chapters 98, 99, and 100.
