Chapter 68

Hundred-Eyes Octopus tears through a cluster of B-Class fighters without effort. When the creature moves to finish Red Muffler, Bone throws himself in and drags his comrade clear, and the two then haul the unconscious heroes out of harm's way. Bone squares off against the beast alone, only to be flattened beneath one of its tentacles. Death Gatling and several A-Class heroes arrive to reinforce Red Muffler, but before the group can act, Flashy Flash streaks past them straight toward the monster.

Flashy Flash carves apart every one of the creature's eyes, leaving it sightless and thrashing in pain as it wrecks the surrounding buildings. The rest of the heroes fall back while he lines up the killing blow. At that moment Tatsumaki hoists the octopus into the sky, compresses it into a crumpled sphere, and drops it. She then chews out the assembled heroes for letting the fight drag on so long. Flashy Flash begins to argue his case but is held back by the others. Watching from their hideout, Gyoro Gyoro and Orochi weigh what the S-Class display has revealed, with Orochi brushing it aside and boasting that they can produce as many Mysterious Beings as they like.

Bone saves Red Muffler and is then crushed by the monster. Flashy Flash blinds Hundred-Eyes Octopus by slicing every eye, and Tatsumaki finishes it off by crumpling it in midair and dropping it. Afterward, Orochi and Gyoro Gyoro assess the threat posed by the S-Class, with Orochi confident the Monster Association can keep manufacturing new monsters.

Released in two parts on November 15 and November 26, 2016, this is the sixty-eighth chapter and part of the Super Fight Arc, collected in Volume 13. Its Japanese title is Dai Senryaku, which the Viz edition renders as A Great Force. The chapter's events are adapted in Episode 19 of the anime.
