Chapter 70

Suiryu and Saitama measure each other up while the announcer, the crowd, and the beaten fighters all struggle to read what is happening. Suiryu commits to the match, driving Saitama toward the edge of the ring with heavy kicks, launching him skyward, then slamming down onto his face to the spectators' shock. Saitama walks away untouched, more worried about keeping his wig in place. Watching from the sidelines, Sneck and Max note that Suiryu relies only on leg techniques and is concealing his real power. Suiryu declares he will stick to kicks to make things livelier and dares Saitama to throw a punch, but Saitama only retreats. Curious, Suiryu quizzes him about his daily life, and when Saitama admits he fights monsters, Suiryu dismisses the idea, insisting genuinely good heroes do not exist.

Elsewhere, the Tank Topper Army takes on the creatures that stormed a hospital. Mumen Rider fights a losing battle against Gyoffrey while trying to shield the patients, until Tanktop Master arrives and rescues him. Back at the tournament, Suiryu keeps mocking heroes and their industry before a kick to the head knocks Saitama's wig loose. Saitama responds by warning Suiryu against getting any stronger if he still wants the fight to be fun, then throws a punch that halts just short of Suiryu's face while the shockwave rips his shirt apart.

Suiryu fights Saitama using only kicks and cannot land a meaningful blow. Saitama shrugs off every attack and reveals he fights monsters, drawing Suiryu's scorn for heroes. The Tank Topper Army defends a hospital, and Tanktop Master saves Mumen Rider from Gyoffrey. Saitama's wig is knocked off, and he answers with a stopped punch that tears Suiryu's shirt.

Released in parts on December 23, 2016, and January 13, 2017, this seventieth chapter is part of the Super Fight Arc and appears in Volume 13. Its Japanese title, Tsuyoi wa Tanoshi, is rendered by Viz as Strength Is Fun. The material is adapted in Episode 19 of the anime, and Saitama and Suiryu appear together on the cover.
