Bjorn

Bjorn is a young boy whose light, straight hair falls in bangs that hide the left half of his face.

In keeping with the other pupils of the Walrus School, Bjorn opposes fighting and violence. He carries a streak of cowardice as well, going so far as to hope he might be spared ahead of his classmates.

Bjorn is the younger sibling of Road, whose otaku habits embarrass him so much that he begs his brother to keep clear of the school, though he was glad to see him when Road came to console him. When the Straw Hats stopped by the Walrus School, Bjorn splashed about in the water with Skaldi and another student. Later he and many classmates were lulled into sleepwalking by the Knights of God's powers. Positioned at the rear, he was roped by Saul to halt his march, though Saul had to let go to deal with the MMA beast Fenrir. The children eventually awoke to find themselves being herded from the school, and when Sommers called Bjorn's name, the boy openly wished aloud that he at least might be rescued.

After Imu's appearance knocked the children out with Supreme King Haki, they were driven onward toward the coast to be shipped off to Mary Geoise. Their guardians came to the rescue, and a New Giant Warrior Pirates strike sent a Nika MMA crashing into Sommers, capsizing the waiting ship. The blow tore open the Sea Clouds, exposing a drop into the Underworld, and the still-active arrow pushed the children toward the chasm. Road leapt to embrace Bjorn as the two fell, but Loki and Luffy waited below, letting each child and guardian land safely on Loki's back. In the Western Village, when Sommers pursued them and menaced the guardians, the youngsters threw themselves between him and their elders in defense, until Zoro, Luffy, and Loki struck Sommers down and the binding thorns dropped away.
