Mechanics

The anime staged the change two different ways. In the standard version, the Sailor Change Star materializes and its star lights up, the brooch snaps onto Taiki's chest, and a burst of light reverts the body to female form before a second flash finishes the sailor uniform, capped by a run of poses. A more elaborate sequence, used a single time in episode 195, opens the same way but sends three stars streaking past as Taiki spins slowly back into female form while golden energy sweeps upward to build the outfit. Unlike the transformations of Fighter and Healer, this alternate take ends without a closing pose.

Notable Users

Taiki Kou is the only one to speak the phrase, using it to assume the role of Sailor Star Maker among the Sailor Starlights. The manga debut lands in Act 51, the anime introduction in the episode titled A Star of Dreams and Wishes: Taiki's Transformation, and its Crystal-continuity showing arrives with Sailor Moon Cosmos.
