Jakoku

Cloaked from head to foot, Jakoku hides his features beneath a deep hood and grips a long scythe, a silhouette built to echo the Grim Reaper. His design draws frequent comparison to Wiseman, since both are shrouded evil figures whose faces stay concealed, and the two even share a similar manner of speech. Among the anime droids, he is the one whose look sits closest to the plain droids drawn in the manga.

Jakoku's threat lies in his command over the sleeping mind. He slips into Chibiusa's dreams and holds her under, keeping her unconscious so the Black Moon Clan can seize her at their leisure. Inside that dream world he proves untouchable, shrugging off every strike the Sailor Guardians manage to land. Pairing the reach of his scythe with the helplessness of a dreaming victim, his method is often likened to the horror villain Freddy Krueger.

Prince Demande, presumed to be his master, dispatches the droid to capture the young girl. Sailor Pluto reaches back from the future through Luna-P and pulls the Guardians into Chibiusa's dream so they can confront him there. None of their assaults connect until Sailor Moon rescues Chibiusa from a deadly fall, strikes with the Cutie Moon Rod, and finishes Jakoku off using Moon Princess Halation. He also turns up as an opponent in the game Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: Another Story, appearing as a boss and echoed by weaker copies colored brown.
