Summary
The group picks its way through a haunted hospital attraction and is set upon by what looks like a zombie, though Shin and Taro quickly recognize it as an assassin in disguise and deal with it. From a surveillance room, Boiled and Obiguro watch the action. Obiguro is eager to see Taro fight but happily leaves him to Boiled, who drains a bottle of liquor and flatly denies that Taro is any friend of his.
A flashback fills in their history. At the JCC assassin training school, a fifteen-year-old Boiled sought out the famously strong fourteen-year-old Taro, and the two grew close. The bond frayed one Valentine's Day, when Boiled assumed neither of them was the sort to receive chocolate, only for the popular Taro to be showered with gifts, convincing Boiled they were nothing alike.
As Taro and Shin cut down assassin after assassin, a frightened Lu downs what she calls a family remedy, which Shin realizes is just alcohol. The tipsy Lu opens a door and unleashes a horde of zombies. Boiled crashes in and sends Taro flying, and Taro flings an ID card that nicks the old scar on Boiled's cheek. Obiguro squares off with Shin, only for the drunk Lu to kick her in the face.
