Demon Monarch Successor Arc

Twentieth in the Solo Leveling: Ragnarok run, this arc steers Suho through the Demon Realm and a gauntlet of trials bound up with demonic succession. It is a stretch heavy on power gains, packed with fresh skills, abilities that evolve, and uncommon items, and it ends with one of his allies rising to the rank of Monarch. Its roster is wide. Among the figures involved are Kaisel, Cha Hae-In, and Antares, alongside Baran, Sirka, Seo Jiwoo, and Esil Radiru.

Suho finishes the Demon King's Trial quest and comes away holding Baran's Horn, after which he meets the lingering spirit of Baran inside the Demon's Sanctuary. He bests Baran in a one-on-one duel and keeps growing stronger, mastering Breath of Destruction and hitting Level 122. Over the same stretch he picks up a damaged Kamish's Wrath, sees Dual Wield evolve into Advanced Dagger Techniques, and gains Fatal Strike. Once he steps into the Sea of the Afterlife, a Leaf of the World Tree falls into his hands. A shared fight against Nidhogg lets Esil seize a Primordial Darkness, and the action ranges from Hapjeong Station to the World Tree and the Tomb of the Berserk Dragons.

Esil's storyline crests when Baran's Horn absorbs her, she meets the World Tree, and her Bloodstone skill matures into Blood Crystal. With the ritual complete, she rises as King of Demons, the Monarch of Gluttony, then swears herself to Suho and bestows the Blessing of Gluttony, lifting his experience gain by 300 percent. Through her doing, Suho also secures the Demon King's Purified Blood as an item. Before the arc closes and gives way to the North Korea Arc, the Dwarves race makes its debut.
