Dungeon & Prisoners Arc

Fifth in the Solo Leveling order, this arc reunites Jinwoo with survivors of the Double Dungeon, among them Song Chi-Yul and Lee Joohee, who assemble for what is supposed to be a final raid together. Their danger this time stems not just from the dungeon's monsters. A pack of convicts serving probation, with their supervisor at the helm, turns the operation deadly. That supervisor is Kang Taeshik, and his presence bends the raid toward violence.

Within the Goblins Dungeon, Jinwoo first slays Cerberus, after which the human bloodshed begins. Kang Taeshik murders the very prisoners he oversees and kills Kim Sangshik, then overwhelms both Song Chi-Yul and Lee Joohee. Jinwoo steps in to confront him directly, and that duel ends in Taeshik's death. Rounding out the cast are Laura, Hwang Dongsoo, and Yoo Jinho, while Goblins and a Hobgoblin fill out the monster ranks. The settings stretch from Washington in the USA to the Song Pa Gu Tower in South Korea and the Demon Castle.

Jinwoo's win brings rewards along with it. Earlier in the arc he finishes a hidden quest woven into his daily tasks and claims the Demon Castle's Key. After he kills Taeshik, the System grants him a Rune Stone that carries the Stealth skill. Several novel differences are noted in the source, including Kang Taeshik feigning an injury to bait Joohee into a trap and Woo Jinchul never appearing at all in the original text.
