Frost Elf Monarch Successor Arc

Twenty-second in the Solo Leveling: Ragnarok run, this arc plays out across icebound sanctuaries and the territory of the Snow Folk. Although the source leaves its plot summary blank, the chapter follows two braided threads: Suho chasing down a mutating Apostle, and Sirka climbing to Monarch status. Its cast brings together Iron, Greed, and the 47th Doll of the Doctor, along with Choi Jong-In, Choi Hasul, Woo Jinchul, and Sirka.

Suho comes face to face with the Apostle of Evolution, which then mutates into the far more dangerous Apostle of Nightmares. Beru briefly gains the Nightmare skill after he devours the brain belonging to the Apostle of Evolution. The first attempt by Suho and Sirka against the Apostle of Nightmares is cut short, though Suho later puts the creature down for good. In a separate clash, Sirka and Beru take on Nidhogg, and Sirka walks away with a Primordial Darkness, rising as the Monarch of Nightmares. Elsewhere, a trio of Woo Jinchul, Greed, and Iron overcomes a band of Chinese villains. The fighting spans the Apostle's laboratory, the Last Paradise, the Sanctuary of the Snow Folk, the World Tree, and the Sea of the Afterlife.

Sirka assumes her new role as Monarch of Nightmares, taking the throne as ruler over the Snow Folk. Once the Apostle of Nightmares falls, Beru pulls the Seed of Evolution from its body and hands the item over to Suho. Sirka then swears allegiance to Suho and grants him the Blessing called Nightmare of the World Tree, which softens the Death debuff that strikes inside the Sea of the Afterlife. From here the story moves into the Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Project Arc.
