Summary

The conflict opens with Sillad killing Go Gunhee. Rakan, Querehsha, and Sillad then close in on Jinwoo: he slays Querehsha in the exchange, but the combined assault of Rakan and Sillad strikes him down. Sung Il-Hwan intervenes against the two until Jinwoo's awakening interrupts the fight. Restored and unleashed, Jinwoo kills first Rakan and then Sillad. Along the way Ashborn lays out the endless war between the Rulers and the Monarchs. A wide cast surrounds the events, including Woo Jinchul, Thomas Andre, Cha Hae-In, Choi Jong-In, Baek Yoonho, and Sung Il-Hwan, set across South Korea, the Chaos World, and the World of Eternal Slumber.

Aftermath

Go Gunhee's death leaves Woo Jinchul as the new chairman of the Korean Hunters Association, and Brazil's top hunter Jonas is also found dead. Thomas Andre gifts Jinwoo Kamish's Wrath in thanks for sparing his guild members, and the largest gate ever seen opens in Seoul. Jinwoo reached level 146, and his death met the conditions of an unknown passive skill. After awakening, the System removed his power limits and his shadow soldiers recovered their full potential. Ashborn returned to the World of Eternal Slumber, Sung Il-Hwan's vessel collapsed and he died, and Bellion led the rest of Ashborn's shadow army out of the gate to pledge themselves to Jinwoo.
