Overview

Spanning chapters 360 through 374 of the Ragnarok novel, this is both the twenty-fifth arc and the sequel series' finale. It comes after the North Pole Arc and never received a webtoon adaptation. Nothing here takes place in the ordinary world; instead the events sprawl across an outer dimension, a void of nothingness, and a purpose-built prison-world shaped to cage one solitary god.

Summary

To strand him, the Itarim hurls Suho into a newly forged realm dubbed Stage of the Lonely God. There Kandiaru cuts a deal, promising to free him in exchange for yet another path toward immortality. The demon then redirects every experience point Suho racks up in that world straight to Ragnar, whose power swells explosively as a result. Beyond that pocket realm the broader war grinds on, with Beru besting the Apostles of Annihilation while the Monarchs and Players together wipe out a legion of apostles.

For his finishing weapon, Suho folds Shadow Nidhogg into Kamish's Wrath. The blade that results carries a long ceremonial name: The Sword that Gawns, it is called, with the World Tree Nidhogg tacked onto the end. Calling on Transcendence, his authority, he drives the Tenacity skill clean past its ceiling to its highest level. Antares vies first against the Itarim's Jaws of Nothingness in a World Predation exchange that gets cut off, and afterward this Nidhogg sword prevails over those same jaws. Once Antares merges inside it, the blade evolves once more, becoming Shadow of Destruction, a form likewise titled The Flame that Gawns Gods and called Ragnarok for short.
