An-D pronounces the objective complete, lifts the lockdown, and thanks the audience, but the now-sympathetic staff and crowd move to block the hijackers' arrest. He fires a shot to quiet them, reminding everyone that his group chose terrorism with open eyes and refuses to be absolved by public feeling. The hijackers surrender and accept full responsibility, leaving the SSS stunned as the incident ends with every hostage safe.

As the authorities move in and Yuri receives orders from the Lieutenant, Yor clings to Loid and admits what truly terrified her: the moment he stepped into An-D's line of fire. She begs him never to risk himself that way again and, pulling back in embarrassment, presses him to think of Anya too. Yuri defends the act as protective, but Yor scolds them both for treating their lives so cheaply. Loid insists he was never in danger, only to be shaken when she reminds him that anyone can die, him included; Yuri, recalling near-identical words from Chloe, reluctantly sides with her.

Apologizing, Loid turns over the creed he absorbed from Sylvia and later drilled into Fiona: an agent who dies mid-mission has failed, endangering both cover and organization. Leaving the tower, he resolves to stay detached and purely rational for Operation Strix, then falters, recognizing that clinging to survival sits uneasily beside his readiness to sacrifice himself, especially with Yor woven into the mission itself.

Anya's arrival cuts the brooding short; she has come with Becky, Martha, and Franky in a Blackbell armored transport. The group escapes in the vehicle amid lighthearted banter, and when Loid sighs over his exhaustion, Yor shyly observes how hard playing a role can be. He quietly agrees.

The live reshoot concludes with Emaria and Sam reunited, and An-D's group surrenders to the authorities rather than exploit public sympathy.

Yor reveals her fear was for Loid's life and extracts a promise of caution, unknowingly striking at the heart of his spy doctrine.

Loid privately wrestles with the contradiction between surviving for the mission and dying for it, now that Yor is essential to Operation Strix.
