Hand is the fiftieth chapter of Tokyo Ghoul:re. Matsumae finishes off a wounded Kijima only to be undone by Furuta's treachery and his stolen quinque, while Haise outreads and pins Shuu in their duel before losing an arm to a sudden strike.
Summary
Though gravely wounded, Kijima raves and hurls himself at Matsumae. His swing with Rotten Follow misses, and she runs him through the chest. With Kijima dead on the floor, Furuta radios Ui to ask about reinforcements and when help might arrive. Okahira tells him to hang back, but when Matsumae springs at them, Furuta throws Okahira into her path as a human shield. Horrified, Matsumae demands to know whether he has any regard for his fellow investigators. Furuta counters that she is the one who killed him, then jabs his fingers into her eyes and gouges them out. Remarking that ghouls are man-eating killers no matter their rank, he hacks her apart with Rotten Follow while offering an apology to Mr. MM.
On the rooftop, Shuu and Haise trade blows. Shuu convinces himself he will pull through, but Haise warns him that victory is impossible. Reading each of Shuu's movements before they land, Haise overwhelms and pins him to the ground. Shuu urges Haise to kill him, yet Haise wrestles with the thought of doing so. Before he can settle on anything, his arm is cut off.
