Born in Santa Monica, California, Snegoff grew into a versatile figure in English anime dubbing. He frequently worked on anime localizations across multiple roles, including voice acting and dialogue direction. His notable anime credits include roles in Robotech across The Macross Saga, The Masters, and New Generation, where he voiced characters like Scott Bernard and Emil Lang. Snegoff also provided voice direction for studio productions of My Neighbor Totoro, Crying Freeman, and Kiki's Delivery Service. In addition, he penned dialogue scripts for Captain Harlock and the Queen of a Thousand Years. Snegoff came from a family of entertainment professionals; his grandfather was an actor, his father Marc Snegoff was a makeup artist, and his mother Alexandra Kenworthy was a voice actress. He was married to fellow voice actor Lisa Michelson until her death in 1991.
