Neon Genesis Evangelion Role

Mugihito voices Keel Lorenz, the reclusive chairman of SEELE, the secretive committee that manipulates NERV from the shadows throughout Neon Genesis Evangelion. For most of the series the character is heard rather than seen, represented in council scenes as a tall black monolith among the other SEELE members, with his true form withheld until the story's climactic final stretch. The dry, commanding delivery Mugihito gives the role helped make Keel one of the franchise's most unsettling and quietly menacing figures.
