Summary
The Daka push into the heart of the city, slaughtering nearly every soldier they meet, and they happen to block the group's road as well. Guts moves to clear it, stunning the surviving troops with his skill. Schierke voices her fear that he may lose himself to the Berserker Armor, but he calms her, noting his duel with Serpico taxed him far more and he kept his mind through it.
Isidro and Serpico join the fight. Roderick frets that they will die, but Farnese assures him the three are seasoned against demonic foes. The soldiers watch in awe as Guts halves Daka, Serpico strikes off heads while seeming to fly, and Isidro sets them ablaze. As Ivalera tells Roderick and Magnifico that magic powers these feats, Farnese lashes several Daka in place with her thorn snakes.
