Summary

Bleeding and slipping out of consciousness, Harribel sinks into memory. Long before Las Noches, she happens upon Apacci fleeing a larger Hollow and kills the pursuer with a single stroke rather than devour the smaller one. She invites the wary stranger to join her, then introduces her to Sung-Sun and Mila Rose, who bicker constantly. Harribel explains her guiding rule: she refuses to grow stronger by consuming others, choosing instead to survive as a united group.

Their peace ends when Baraggan, ruler of the desert, demands she either serve him or hide somewhere beyond his sight. When one of his followers threatens her, Harribel wounds him and earns the king's grudge. That injured Hollow later returns with a cracked mask and overwhelming force, apparently killing Harribel before her three comrades throw themselves into a doomed defense of her. Aizen intervenes, cutting the attacker down and preaching that sacrifice makes the impossible possible. He offers Harribel the strength to shield those she cares for, and she accepts, becoming an Arrancar under his banner.

Back in the present, Aizen coldly tells her that even more sacrifices would change nothing. Enraged, Harribel stabs him, only to learn she struck an illusion cast by his blade. The real Aizen runs her through the shoulder from behind and lets her fall to the town below, then turns to face the Shinigami and Visored waiting for him.

Notes

The episode adapts Chapter 376 and is framed almost entirely as Harribel's remembrance, giving her fracción their origin story. It closes on the comedic Karakura mystery segment, in which reports of talking, mind-controlling cats send Ichigo to investigate, only to find Yoruichi in feline form clumsily teaching local strays to beg humans for tuna. The listed battle section is empty, since the flashback drives the runtime rather than an active present-day duel.
