Impossible to Attack? The Sealed Genryūsai!

Yamamoto emerges from a pillar of flame to face Aizen, who claims the old man's arrival is too late and that the Gotei 13 will crumble if he falls. When Aizen stabs him through the stomach, Yamamoto grips his arm, insisting he cannot misread the spiritual pressure of a blade, and ignites Ennetsu Jigoku, a hell of scorching flames he has been building toward the entire battle, willing to die alongside Aizen to end the threat.

Wonderweiss appears and snuffs out the inferno with a bare hand, and Aizen reveals the modified Arrancar was created for the sole purpose of suppressing Ryūjin Jakka, having surrendered his language, memory, and reason to gain that power. Undaunted, Yamamoto punches a hole through Wonderweiss, declaring that no Shinigami stronger than himself has been born in a thousand years, and eventually destroys the childlike Arrancar with Sōkotsu, pitying the creature Aizen twisted into a weapon.

Aizen springs his final trap: the sealed flames of Ryūjin Jakka were stored inside Wonderweiss's body, and they erupt violently. Yamamoto smothers the blast with his own body to protect the fake town's barrier, taking grievous wounds. As Aizen moves to finish him, the Captain-Commander seizes his ankle and unleashes the high-level Kidō Ittō Kasō, his arm cracking from the strain, and a masked Ichigo follows up with a Getsuga Tenshō as Aizen escapes the flames.

Yamamoto joins the battle and activates Ennetsu Jigoku after being stabbed by Aizen. Wonderweiss extinguishes the flames, revealing his purpose as a counter to Ryūjin Jakka. Yamamoto destroys Wonderweiss with Sōkotsu. The sealed flames explode from Wonderweiss's body, and Yamamoto contains the blast at great cost. He casts Ittō Kasō against Aizen, who escapes with light burns before Ichigo attacks with Getsuga Tenshō.

The episode adapts Chapter 393 through Chapter 395 and features the Kidō Ittō Kasō, the Hakuda strikes Ikkotsu and Sōkotsu, Ennetsu Jigoku, and Wonderweiss's Resurrección Extinguir. A Picture Book segment finds Renji fleeing the crossfire between Byakuya and Kenpachi. Trivia notes a costume difference in the flashback where Harribel is introduced to the Espada. The opening theme is Melody of the Wild Dance and the ending is Last Moment.
