Ichigo names his blade and unleashes a raw Getsuga Tensho, clearing the last of Urahara's lessons with a single overwhelming strike. Across town, Uryu, Sado, and Orihime finish their own training and ready themselves for Soul Society.
When Ichigo goes still and grips the broken hilt as if to sheathe it, Zangetsu urges him once more to abandon fear and shout his name. Ichigo obeys, and a surge of spiritual pressure erupts as he wheels around and fires an unintended Getsuga Tensho that rips between the surrounding rocks, forcing Tessai to shield the children.
From the settling dust, Ichigo rises with his released Shikai, a blade lacking any hilt or guard, buried in the ground. Urahara steps up to resume lesson three, but Ichigo warns him to dodge, admitting he cannot rein the weapon in. He swings down a second, tighter Getsuga Tensho, and Urahara barely survives behind his Chikasumi no Tate shield, losing half his hat's brim and, by his own reckoning, nearly an arm. Surveying the ravine the attack carved, Urahara calls the sleeping Ichigo a frightening kid and declares the third lesson passed.
Elsewhere, a winded Uryu dissolves his spirit bow and thanks Soken while studying his Sanrei Glove. In a Karakura building, Sado blasts through a wall with his Fullbring arm, celebrating with Orihime, before an exasperated Yoruichi hurries them out the back as sirens close in.
Ichigo names Zangetsu and reflexively fires his first Getsuga Tensho. A concentrated second blast forces Urahara behind Chikasumi no Tate and clears the third lesson. Uryu completes his Quincy training with the Sanrei Glove, and Sado masters his Fullbring arm, readying the whole group for Soul Society.

In "End of Lessons," Ichigo rises with his released Shikai, a blade lacking any hilt or guard, buried in the ground. He admits he cannot yet rein the weapon in.
Uryu completes his Quincy training with the Sanrei Glove and thanks his late grandfather Soken, while Sado masters his Fullbring arm by blasting through a wall. Yoruichi then hurries Orihime and Sado out the back as sirens close in.
"End of Lessons" is adapted in Episode 20, Gin Ichimaru's Shadow. It resolves the training arc for all four Human World allies at once.
