Rescue

Having rescued Meowy, Power agrees to honor her bargain and let Denji touch her, only for the Leech Devil to blow off his arm and devour it. Drained of blood and able to muster just a stub of a chainsaw, Denji is overwhelmed in a frantic brawl, ranting that no one respects his dream of copping a feel. The Leech Devil pierces his chest and is about to eat him when Aki arrives, summons the Fox Devil, and lets it swallow her whole.

Recovering in the hospital, Denji learns from Aki how hunters trade pieces of themselves to Devils for power. Aki suspects Power tried to kill Denji but, finding no fatalities, agrees to forget the incident if Denji simply does as he says, sparing them both. Himeno waits outside, and Aki frees Power, reasoning that useful Devils and Fiends are worth keeping as weapons.

Makima notes that Aki has grown more flexible, which he denies. Power soon barges into the apartment to live with the pair, flouting house rules by tossing aside vegetables and refusing to flush. At last she keeps her word, granting Denji three squeezes, one each for saving Meowy, killing the Bat Devil, and shielding her from Aki.

The Leech Devil attacks Denji and is destroyed by Aki's Fox Devil. Aki covers up Power's betrayal in exchange for Denji's obedience and takes Power into his home. Power finally lets Denji fondle her chest as promised.

The fourth episode adapts chapters 9 through 12. Its ending theme is Jozai. Original scenes show Aki reporting to Makima and handling chores, while the clash against the Leech Devil runs longer than in the manga.
