Summary

As Nobana and the other students take up guns, the elder who spoke with Haruka tells them the weapons were a gift from Chainsaw Man himself, whipping the crowd into a fervor. None of them notice the officer outside signaling Special Division 7 to move in. The Nail Fiend crashes through, observing that the congregation is mostly children and declaring that kids have no business holding firearms.

Key Events

When the elder orders the students to open fire, they charge, but the Nail Fiend pins each of them to the wall by their clothes, leaving them helpless. The fiend singles out one student and asks him to vow that the cultists will devote themselves to studying instead, then, hearing only an apathetic response, smashes a hammer into his head as the others scream. The elder spits that he loathes Public Safety for bartering their souls to Devils and decides the only fitting answer is to become a Devil himself. Transforming into another vessel of the Justice Devil, he lunges at the Nail Fiend, who mocks human arrogance. The instant he proclaims he is delivering Chainsaw Man's justice, Katana Man strikes him down, still plainly furious over his earlier clash with Chainsaw Man.
