An old man insists Denji is a disguised pseudo-Chainsaw Devil, and the surrounding onlookers share his doubt. Denji and Fumiko push back, but their denials are swiftly dismissed. Key Events

Over in Asa's apartment, Yoshida is stunned that her left arm caught his sword. Without laying a hand on anything, Asa warps the whole dwelling into a weapon at the very moment Yoshida tells the Octopus Devil to pin her down. Yoru then surges to the fore, carving the Octopus Devil's tentacle into shreds with the freshly conjured Room 606 Sword. Loose at last, she senses that the worldwide spike in war's dread has handed her and Asa a huge surge of strength. The pair square off amid the wreckage, each wielding their own armament, and Yoru charges Yoshida only to slam into a wall, unaccustomed to her new might. Spotting that he has slipped away, she briefly resolves to hunt him. Once she touches down, though, she halts to take in the surrounding ruin and terror. Delighted by the spectacle, Yoru breaks into triumphant laughter, certain the world has at last recalled her existence.
