Summary

The Darkness Devil slowly turns its attention to Angel Devil, who at once begins bleeding from his eyes, nose, and mouth before dropping. Aki starts to bleed in the same way as the devil reaches for him, until Princi appears and grabs at the Darkness Devil, only to be sliced apart before she can take hold. In contact with Makima, Princi receives the order to summon her into Hell and does so, and Makima steps through. She and the Darkness Devil face off, each pointing at the other.

Key Events

Makima's finger snaps, and the mouths covering the Darkness Devil burst open with blood. She walks to Tolka's body and sets her hand on his severed head; as she extends her arm her bones twist and crack while the Darkness Devil conjures a sword to skewer her. The instant her touch lands, Tolka surrenders the whole of himself to the Hell Devil in exchange for sending everyone back, and the group is returned to the rooftop amusement park where Santa Claus had been waiting.

Notes

Back above, Santa Claus absorbs the dolls she has left and swells into a towering, many-armed thing, advancing on Makima with taunts. Makima cradles Denji's torso, feeds him blood, and pulls his cord, noting that the Darkness Devil's flesh now makes her immune to any attack launched in darkness. She asks whether Denji will come to her rescue, and the transformed Denji answers with a fierce Woof! as he hurls himself into the fight. The chapter runs in Volume 8 within the International Assassins arc.
