The First Devil Hunter

Kishibe and Yoshida sit outside clearing away the last of the dolls and talk over Makima, agreeing she is pursuing some private agenda that goes well beyond bureau orders. When Kishibe wonders whether she can overhear them, Yoshida notes she can only borrow the senses of lesser creatures like rats and birds. Up on the rooftop, Denji hacks through one of Santa Claus's arms while raging at her for endangering Power and the others. Slipping into a shadow, Santa Claus heals herself instantly and blasts Denji through the floor, then beats back his next lunge with a fresh swarm of dolls.

Tsugihagi watches while clutching Quanxi's severed head. She lifts Quanxi's eyepatch, reaches into the empty socket, and draws out a long arrow before tossing the head into the dolls mobbing Denji. The dolls are instantly shredded as Quanxi reappears, brought back in her hybrid form. She agrees to stand with Denji to avenge Long and Pingtsi, then vanishes in a blink. In a nearby alley she materializes before Santa Claus and rakes her with powerful bolts; torn apart as fast as she is hit, Santa Claus mends herself and compliments Quanxi on her title as the First Devil Hunter.

Unable to track Quanxi's blinding speed, Santa Claus changes tactics and returns humanity to her dolls, giving back their minds while still compelling them to press the attack. Confronted by the now terrified, shrieking human-dolls rushing him, Denji can only blurt out that this is some real villain behavior. The chapter runs in Volume 8 within the International Assassins arc, with Power appearing in mention.
