Summary

The clash sends Denji and the Bat Devil smashing through a structure after Denji severs one of the creature's arms. Spotting a woman caught in the chaos, Denji shouts for her to flee before she becomes a meal. The Bat Devil finds this baffling, demanding to know why a devil would spare a human, but Denji brushes the question off and answers with a fist, vowing to split the monster open and reach the chest he is after.

When the Devil hurls a parked car at him, Denji learns on the spot that he can pull his blades back in, letting him snatch the vehicle from the air and lob it straight back. The Bat Devil counters with a sonar blast powerful enough to flatten the building looming behind Denji. It moves to devour the man it had grabbed from the car, only for Denji to climb back out of the wreckage. Drawing his chainsaws again, he tears into the creature and reduces it to pieces.
