Miko is one of Momo Ayase's two closest friends at Kami High, sharing a classroom and a steady stream of gossip with Kei. A recurring presence across the series, she is the chatty, unflappable half of the duo who delights in teasing Momo about her love life.
Of ordinary height, Miko usually ties her hair up into a tidy little bun. The school uniform is her standard look: a long-sleeved sweater layered over a white undershirt finished with a loose bow, paired with a skirt, slouchy socks, and sandals. Once the Evil Eye Arc rolls around, she adds a jacket over the rest of the uniform.
Compared to Kei, Miko talks more freely and carries herself with a relaxed ease, rarely losing her cool. She values that composure enough to hide her face when Jiji throws compliments her way, refusing to let anyone catch her blushing and crack her unbothered front.
Miko first appears when Momo dumps her arrogant boyfriend and reports back to her and Kei, who had warned against the relationship. She razzes Momo for only dating the boy because he resembled actor Ken Takakura. When the pair later spot Momo squabbling with a nerd from Class 2-C, Miko shrugs off his looks. During the Acrobatic Silky Arc, she and Kei grow suspicious of Momo's silence and unanswered texts, then witness the accidental kiss between Momo and Okarun, after which Miko relentlessly teases her about the budding romance.
Through the Serpo Arc she watches Momo behave strangely in the biology room and assumes she is possessed by a mantis shrimp, later concocting a wild theory about a nude love triangle with Aira. In the Cursed House Arc she warms to Jiji after he flatters her, and reacts with shock when he announces he and Momo are living together. The Evil Eye Arc has her dragging Momo into a part-time maid job at the Moe Moe Kikoho and pulling Okarun along to visit, snapping photos of Momo in her maid outfit. She turns up briefly during the Kaiju and Space Globalists arcs as well.
In the Six Curses Arc, Miko reunites with an amnesiac Momo who has returned to school after her curse is lifted. Though Momo has lost her memories, she still recognizes Miko and Kei. The two friends push her toward a date with Okarun to rebuild their bond, hauling her to the Tokyo National Museum before quietly slipping away to leave the pair alone.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
