Appearance

At first glance Vakappa looks hulking and heavily muscled, his long bangs flowing yet undercut by a wide bald patch at the crown, finished with dark shades and a mole on his chin. A dark coat strains over his bulk, matched by gloves and shoes. That imposing build is a lie, though: both the muscles and the clothes are constructs his water power molds around a true body that is gaunt and wasted, dressed in nothing but a chastity belt. When he moved to kill Rin, he stripped down to that belt and topped himself with a bathing cap.

Personality

Arrogance defines him. Vakappa sneers at opponents on sight, branding Rin and Koki as pigs beneath himself and his fellow Paladins the moment they fell, and he holds nothing but contempt for anyone who gives up too readily. Still, a genuinely strong foe can change his tune; he relishes a real fight and openly voices the rush it gives him.

Abilities

Vakappa's power is built on water, which he shapes into the false muscular body and clothing he wears, as well as into bubbles and barriers. He raised a large liquid bubble to sweep away an insect swarm and shelter Jack Wisp, and he trapped Rin and Mai inside a water bubble drawn from his own form. His ability has limits, however; Rin's expanding gravity field kept his water from reaching its target. After helping Red Baron strip both girls of their powers, he turned on Rin to crush her skull between his thighs, only for a giant toilet to strike the trio with constipation. Confronted by Hanako, his attempt to drown her backfired when she flushed all his water down a toilet, leaving him emaciated and begging for water before she knocked him out and flushed him away alongside Jack Wisp.
