Michelle Ruff

Michelle Ruff voices Yoko Littner in the English dub of Gurren Lagann, the sniper and big-sister figure of Team Dai-Gurren. Her other signature roles include Rukia Kuchiki in Bleach, Fujiko Mine in Lupin the Third, and Yuki Nagato from the Haruhi Suzumiya franchise. In gaming, she voices Jill Valentine across the Resident Evil series.

Ruff voices Yukari Takeba in the Persona franchise, which includes Persona 3. That role sits alongside her other major video game credit, Jill Valentine across the Resident Evil games. She has worked in anime and game voice acting since 1997.

Ruff is best known for playing Yoko Littner in the English dub of Gurren Lagann, a role that placed her among the show's core English cast alongside the American voices of Simon and Kamina. She is also widely recognized as Rukia Kuchiki in Bleach and Sinon in Sword Art Online. That Gurren Lagann role became one of the signature credits fans associate with her early career.
