Flaxancible

Flaxancible wears the battle gear of the Flaxans, a blue jumpsuit under white plating that guards the chest, groin, shoulders, and knees, finished with heavy boots. He sets himself apart from other Marks with black-rimmed glasses and a messy, side-swept fringe rather than the slicked-back hair the mainstream Grayson usually sports.

This version leans fully into being a supervillain, throwing himself into the Invincible War with a chilling indifference to the sweeping destruction and loss of life he leaves behind.

Like most variants, Flaxancible's origins stay murky, though his Flaxan armor hints that he rules or fights alongside the Flaxan Empire in his own reality. Angstrom Levy recruits him as one of the evil Invincibles meant to ravage the mainstream universe.

Arriving through Angstrom's portal, he immediately sets about wrecking everything in sight and storms the Global Defense Agency, leveling much of the Pentagon and killing those inside. The ReAnimen, armed with Noise Makers, wear him down, and after Cecil Stedman triggers a specialized sonic frequency to weaken him, the machines pummel his body until Cecil calls them off. Donald Ferguson observes that this Invincible is plainly weaker than the mainstream one, a realization that gives the defenders hope against the remaining variants.

His rampage leaves deep scars on the mainstream world: cities and countries reduced to rubble, countless dead, and the G.D.A.'s sound emitters destroyed, crippling their defense against the other Invincibles and, later, Conquest. His corpse is afterward recovered and converted into a ReAnimen, his shattered head rebuilt entirely in metal.
