Hina Tougi is a Rank 2 ghoul investigator who serves in the Atou Squad during Tokyo Ghoul:re. She takes part in the auction cleanup, where a doomed reunion with a former acquaintance turned ghoul brings her life to a sudden end.
Hina kept her dark hair short, cut into straight, squared-off bangs. Over a black shirt with a high collar she wore the white coat that marked her squad.
Accounts of her school days paint her as a distracted student prone to chatting through lectures. Under genuine threat her composure crumbled: cornered by the transformed Takizawa, she and Shougo Kukiyama huddled together in terror, weeping as he clung to her.
Tougi joined the Atou Squad under Daisuke Atou for the operation to clear the auction site, storming Zeum Hall with her comrades and helping bring down the Nutcracker's partner. She was among the few still on their feet when Seidou Takizawa arrived. Recognizing him from his time as a guest lecturer at the investigator academy, she tried to reach the man he had once been, but her appeal only enraged the one-eyed ghoul, who impaled and beheaded her.
