Pokke is the one who ate it, debuting at the One Piece Premier Show 2016, where his ability first captured and then aided the Straw Hat Pirates. The title stems from the Japanese term for thing.

Whoever holds the fruit can pump out numerous copies, whether of their own person or of any figure or item they pick. A copy inherits the same skills as whatever it was drawn from, yet never matches the source in raw power. The maker also keeps total command over every duplicate, steering them even toward acts that contradict the originals' true natures. Past that, the ordinary Devil Fruit vulnerabilities remain in force.

Pokke is the fruit's sole wielder, generating stand-ins of himself, of others, and of inanimate things. His documented duplicates form a lengthy roster of antagonists. The Warlord-tier figures alone include Crocodile, Doflamingo, Gecko Moria, and Dracule Mihawk, joined by the poison-warden Magellan and the okama Bentham. From the Cipher Pol ranks come Rob Lucci, Jabra, Kalifa, and Kaku, while the fish-man foes Arlong and Hody Jones and the schemers Kuro and Wapol round out the human copies. He has additionally recreated the ship Going Merry and, of course, himself. Its copying gimmick ties the fruit to the Mira Mira no Mi as well as the Kone Kone no Mi, while the weaker-than-source duplicates plus object creation call to mind the Bake-danuki model of the Inu Inu no Mi.
