Toshi Toshi no Mi

Whoever holds this Paramecia can bend the age of nearly anything, their own body, other people, animals, and inanimate objects included, which marks them an Age Manipulation Human. The Japanese toshi stands for age or year, and English releases call it the Age-Age Fruit. Bonney never swallowed the fruit whole; instead Jaygarcia Saturn dosed her with an extract during infancy as part of an experiment that transferred the power to her while burning out the fruit itself.

At its heart the ability is complete mastery over aging, and it comes with a telltale flourish: whatever years are drained from a target burst free as glittering jewels and shapes. A foe can be pushed into frail old age, dropped back into a helpless small child, or briefly withered to a skeleton for a horrifying near-death shock, and even Marine Vice Admirals who wield Haki fall powerless once regressed. Objects crumble to dust when their years race forward, useful for forcing open sealed doors, and only a single point of contact, direct or by way of a held item, is needed to apply the effect.

People whose bodies are altered keep every memory and their full wits, and any scars or bodily modifications survive the change, exactly as Jinbe's eye scar did after he was made a child. The fruit's deepest trick is molding oneself or others into potential future forms with no regard for physical limits, so a vivid imagination can yield muscular warriors, other races, or even the borrowed traits of a different Devil Fruit class, up to the awakened state of Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Mi.

Constraints run deep, though. On living things the aging is only temporary, so victims drift back to their real age in time, and even the user's chosen adult self demands constant upkeep, with fierce battles or fatigue snapping the illusion. Extremely long-lived targets barely register the effect, the reason Bonney failed to weaken Saturn, unaged for centuries. The imagined-future power shrinks as the user grows conscious of grim reality, letting doubt and mental pressure derail it, and being plunged into the sea appears to cancel the effects outright.

Bonney, the fruit's owner, generally maintains the look of an early-twenties woman and nudges how old she seems, raising or lowering it to impersonate others, whether faking kinship, lifting food, or entering off-limits areas. Grasping the fruit took her time at first, and she learned an elderly guise by modeling herself on Queen Conney, a disguise persuasive enough to trick even her father, while Conney's counsel to keep the power secret later helped her dodge the World Government. In combat she flings enemies to age extremes too advanced or too young to fight back, and she runs the power through scavenged weapons like pipes and pistols since she owns no set arm.

Her hallmark Distortion Future ages her into a plausible future self, the base version yielding a large muscular frame, with offshoots that ape Nika's stretching rubber blows, swell her to giant size, or reach a freedom-drenched shape echoing the awakened Gomu Gomu no Mi, though the fiercest variants leave her wrung out. Additional moves cover Toshi Tsuki, a thrust that de-ages a target as their years scatter as gems, used to reduce Vegapunk to a child, Oil Shock, which rots metal locks apart, and NDE, a pistol round that snares victims in a withering brush-with-death vision.
