White Ice

Still locked in combat with Ghiaccio, whose White Album seals him in unbreakable ice, Giorno drives his car into the sea hoping saltwater will slow the Stand. He batters the armor until Gold Experience's fists split, then tells Mista to flee and finish the mission. Ghiaccio freezes the water faster than Mista can swim, so Mista has Giorno sprout tundra grass from the car to fashion a makeshift snowboard and skate toward shore. The two force a huge screw into Ghiaccio's helmet, but Mista, spotting an airhole at the back of the neck, turns back to kill him rather than escape.

Ghiaccio counters with White Album Gently Weeps, freezing the air into invisible shields that rebound bullets. Injured and desperate, Mista keeps attacking as Giorno, watching his partner's spirit fray, realizes only true resolve can win and sprays his own blood at Ghiaccio from a distance. The blood exposes the frozen air, letting Sex Pistols ricochet shots toward the weak point, though Ghiaccio adapts again by absorbing the frozen air as reserves. A flashback recalls how Bucciarati once freed a jailed Mista and recognized his righteousness, welcoming him into the team.

Mista uses his own wound to spray blood on the helmet and shoots Ghiaccio in the face, tripping him onto a sharpened lamppost. A final frantic shootout drives the spike deeper, and when a bullet finally strikes Mista in the head, Giorno reaches shore just in time to heal him. Praising Mista's fighting spirit, Giorno has Gold Experience stomp Ghiaccio's face onto the spike, ending him as the sun breaks the horizon. Narancia and the rest arrive via Coco Jumbo, mistaking the scene for something intimate. Meanwhile the Boss, having lost track of Risotto, prepares to meet Trish and the team.

Giorno and Mista overcome Ghiaccio's ice armor through improvised tactics, from a tundra-grass snowboard to blood that exposes the invisible frozen-air shields of White Album Gently Weeps. A flashback depicts Bucciarati liberating Mista from prison and inviting him into the gang, establishing why Mista fights so fiercely. Ghiaccio dies when Gold Experience drives him onto a broken lamppost. Giorno's guidance is affirmed as the decisive factor in victory. The Boss loses Risotto Nero's trail and moves to rendezvous with Trish and Team Bucciarati.

The nineteenth Golden Wind episode, and the one hundred thirty-second overall, adapts the end of Chapter 511 through Chapter 515 with pieces of Chapter 508. The official English subtitles and dub retitle it White Ice to match White Album's localized name. The adaptation reorders Mista's flashback into the middle of the fight, folds Bucciarati's monologue directly to Mista, and trims dialogue such as Ghiaccio noting air solidifies at minus 210 degrees. An after-credits scene expands on the Boss and Risotto and teases King Crimson.
