Nobuko carries a sunny, upbeat air about her. She happily strikes poses for admirers and goes so far as to ask after how they are doing. That warmth is persuasive enough to win over even gruff, hard-to-budge types like Mai Zenin.

While hosting a Tokyo fan event, Nobuko met Aoi Todo, clasped his hand, and unleashed her trademark Taka-tan Beam. She turns up again inside Aoi's fabricated memories, cast as a middle-school classmate of his and Yuji Itadori; there he confesses his feelings, and she turns him down, saying her heart already belongs to someone. Through his clash with Hanami, Aoi imagines her chatting with him in a classroom as they puzzle out how the curse's sprouts function, with her help leading him to realize the sprouts feed on a target's cursed energy. The Shibuya Incident brings her back into his mind once more, where he envisions the two of them battering Mahito together and trading a handshake after the curse goes down.
