Rozetsu

Rozetsu takes a roughly human shape, thin to the point of looking emaciated and tinted a sickly pink. One detail sets him apart: his left arm has swollen to a grotesque, oversized state ever since his clash with Masamichi Yaga and Kensuke Nagino twenty-six years earlier.

Like Jogo and his fellow curses, Rozetsu holds that spirits stand above humans, and he treats cursed techniques as both a source of strength and a form of artistry. Convinced that humans have no right to wield such gifts, he has devoted his existence to taking the techniques he admires from them and adding them to his collection. He carries himself with sharp intelligence and a courteous manner, though that polish gives way to a rough, aggressive edge when events catch him off guard. Cautious by nature, he steers clear of needless gambles and clings tightly to the ideals that drive him.

As befits a special grade, Rozetsu commands enormous reserves of cursed energy and manipulates it with great finesse. That control underpins his signature trick of faking his own death, dispersing his body into cursed energy while staying conscious so he can slip away just before a strike lands and ambush a sorcerer who believes the fight is won. The ruse failed against Mahito, who could read his soul and track him even while scattered. He can also spawn loyal subordinate spirits that develop wills, and personalities, of their own as their energy and a sorcerer's mixed-in energy mature. His true form, called the Ferocious Unit, is restored by absorbing the mass-produced spirits he seeded across Kyushu; pulling in the Sukuna spirit and the fingers pushed him past his original power and stripped away his earlier frailty. His innate Cursed Technique Snatch copies another sorcerer's technique once three conditions are met, direct contact, a sample of blood and cursed energy, and prior exposure to the technique, then stores the copy in a spirit vessel, leaving the original owner with a weakened version. His Domain Expansion, Unquenchable Thirst, conjures a dim red cavern of stalactites whose guaranteed-hit effect doubles as the trigger for Snatch, so merely dragging a sorcerer inside satisfies the replication requirement.
