Summary

Yuki argues that humanity's next step lies in shedding cursed energy entirely, while Pseudo-Geto counters that optimizing it is the only path forward. He reveals his goal is neither peace nor a world free of curses, but unleashing chaos beyond his own control. Having already extracted Mahito's technique, he slams his palm down to cast a sprawling seal that remotely activates Idle Transfiguration on people he had previously marked, rewiring their brains into those of sorcerers and turning ingested cursed objects into vessels.

As Uraume collapses from Choso's poisonous blood and frees the trapped sorcerers, Pseudo-Geto summons curses to cover his retreat. Taunting Yuji with a glimpse of the sealed Gojo, he proclaims that the Heian era, jujutsu's golden age, has returned, and departs.

Notes

The finale adapts chapters 136 through 139 and introduces Yuta Okkotsu to the main timeline. Anime-original scenes flesh out the headquarters' deliberations and depict ordinary citizens reacting to the disaster with skepticism, treating it as a terror attack or natural calamity. A manga panel showing one higher-up's face during the meeting with Yuta was omitted in the adaptation.
