Key Events

Within his own consciousness, Yuji squares off against Sukuna, who wants thanks for restoring the boy's arm. Yuji refuses, blaming the King of Curses for his death, and lashes out, but his attacks accomplish nothing inside Sukuna's domain. Sukuna offers terms to revive him: control passes whenever Yuji speaks the word that binds them, and the boy must forget the deal entirely. When Sukuna frames all jujutsu as resting on a binding vow, Yuji rejects the arrangement and strikes him away. Irritated, Sukuna goads him into a duel to the death and beheads him in an instant.

In reality, Gojo confides his dream to Ijichi, branding the higher-ups as the dregs of their world and confessing he is poorly suited to teaching. He believes rebuilding the field demands strong allies, and counts the upperclassmen Hakari and Okkotsu among those who will become powerful sorcerers. Shoko is about to begin dissecting Yuji's corpse when he abruptly returns to life. Gojo welcomes his student back and asks Shoko to keep him recorded as dead, shielding him from the higher-ups while he trains for the Kyoto Goodwill Event. He vows not to hide the boy forever, unwilling to rob him of his best years. Elsewhere, the body-swapped Geto warns Jogo that Gojo is their gravest danger and proposes trapping him with a special grade cursed object like the Prison Realm.
