The one hundred and fortieth chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen drops Yuta Okkotsu into the Shibuya standoff as Yuji's assigned killer, where a quick bargain with Naoya splits the fight in two and a deadly chase begins.
Tracking down the boy he has been sent to kill, Yuta Okkotsu crashes into the clash between Yuji, Choso, and Naoya Zenin. Naoya immediately spots a chance to use the newcomer, and the two strike a quick understanding that pulls Yuji away from his protector and sets the stage for separate duels.
Yuta arrives by leaping down from a balcony, smashing through part of a wall and leaving Yuji and Choso stunned. Choso recognizes the visitor as an executioner, while Yuji recalls Megumi describing a second-year who, like Gojo, carries Special Grade rank. Naoya throws up his hands, names himself as Maki's cousin, and proposes that he and Yuta cooperate to bring Yuji down, asking only that Yuta delay reporting to the higher-ups since Yuji is bait for a future meeting.
Choso urges Yuji to flee, warning that someone built like Gojo would simply kill him, and promises to handle Naoya himself so the two can regroup at the previous day's location. The moment the deal is sealed, everyone moves at once: Yuta darts past toward Yuji, Choso fires a shot of Piercing Blood, and Naoya intercepts. The chase carries Yuji and Yuta out of the underpass and into open streets.
Yuji flips over an overturned car and reverses direction to dodge a strike, prompting Yuta to compare him to Maki. When Yuta then halts him by hurling the car, he explains that his pool of cursed energy actually exceeds Gojo's, but his teacher's Six Eyes let Gojo spend almost nothing to activate techniques. Yuta lands a blow with the butt of his katana, and Yuji realizes the danger is not reading the moves but the relentless, economical precision behind each one. Remembering Nanami's dying words, Yuji refuses to fall.
The installment opens the duel of Yuji Itadori against Yuta Okkotsu and the fight of Choso against Naoya Zenin, both set in Shibuya during the Culling Game Arc. Yuta appears on the cover, and the action was adapted in Episode 48. Flashbacks feature Gojo and Aoi Todo, while Maki is referenced. Choso draws on Blood Manipulation and Convergence, and Naoya uses his Projection Sorcery.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
