Forced Quirk Activation, rendered in the dub as Forcible Quirk Activation, is a stolen Emitter Quirk in All For One's arsenal. A touch is enough to fire someone else's power without their say-so, awake or not, which turns allies into equipment and hands him an escape route when his own body locks up.
All For One holds Forced Quirk Activation, known in the dub as Forcible Quirk Activation, having taken it from a person whose identity is never given. The Emitter Quirk works on contact and enters the story in Chapter 90, adapted in Episode 48. Its literal Japanese reading runs closer to Forced Individuality Activation.
The effect is absolute in its narrow way: touch a person and their Quirk fires, consent irrelevant. A target's state of awareness changes nothing, so an unconscious ally serves just as well as a willing one, and All For One can trigger a subordinate's power whenever it suits him.
He can also point it at himself. Paralysis is no obstacle, since setting it off asks nothing of his muscles, though the trick is worthless unless he carries some other Quirk waiting to be triggered. Both recorded uses on other people came paired with Rivet Stab, which supplied the contact the Quirk demands.
Beyond the unknown original owner, All For One is the only wielder. He leaned on it twice during the Kamino Incident, opening Kurogiri's Warp Gate for him and setting off Magne's Magnetism. Much later, cornered in the Final War while facing both All Might and Stain, he found himself pinned by Bloodcurdle and broke the hold by forcing Bloodlet to activate from inside his own paralyzed body.
Forced Quirk Activation is held by the villain All For One, who took it from an unnamed original owner. It lets him trigger someone else's Quirk on contact, whether or not they consent.
Forced Quirk Activation fires off another person's Quirk the instant All For One touches them, and it works regardless of whether the target is awake or unconscious.
Yes. All For One can trigger his own stolen Quirks with Forced Quirk Activation even while paralyzed, since setting it off does not require using his muscles, though he still needs another Quirk on hand to activate.
All For One used Forced Quirk Activation twice during the Kamino Incident, opening Kurogiri's Warp Gate and triggering Magne's Magnetism. During the Final War, he used it on himself to activate Bloodlet and break free after being pinned by Bloodcurdle.
Forced Quirk Activation is a contact-range Emitter Quirk, called Forcible Quirk Activation in the English dub. It debuts in Chapter 90 of the manga and Episode 48 of the anime.
