Radio Waves (Bombers)
CharacterDenjiha belongs to the EMP Bombers and, later, to Number 6. It does one thing thoroughly: dump an electromagnetic pulse wide enough to black out an entire area, stranding everyone caught inside it without power or contact. Its resemblance to All For One's Radio Waves is almost certainly no coincidence.
Overview
Rendered in Japanese as Denjiha, this long-range Emitter ability is the signature weapon of the EMP Bombers and one of several powers held by Number 6. It debuts in Chapter 51 of Vigilantes and Episode 24 of that adaptation. Tomura Shigaraki and All For One wield a different Quirk carrying the same English name, spelled differently in Japanese.
Mechanics
The holder generates electromagnetic pulses out of their own being, forceful enough to interfere with and disable both electricity and communications throughout a given area. Given the identical function and the users' shared links back to All For One, the two Radio Waves are widely assumed to be duplicates of one another.
Notable Users
The purpose-built EMP Bombers introduced the power during the Sky Egg Bombing, detonating their pulse outside the tower. The Tokyo Sky Egg went dark, and the Pro Heroes trapped within lost every line of contact with anyone beyond the building.
Number 6 later made it the foundation of the Naruhata Lockdown, releasing an electrical pulse that darkened the whole city at a stroke, unsettling civilians while sealing off outside interference with his Operation Anonymous. Running it alongside his Overclock, he also seized control of the Anonymous, pushing orders out through his parallel processing.
