Chapter 345

The Troy cages hold for almost no time. Himiko Toga screams for a breakout, the villains tear their way out, and Dabi sneers that the boxes lasted under three seconds. Shoto Todoroki tells him three seconds was the entire allowance. The heroes pour in, pinning and scattering the enemy just long enough for Phantom Thief to open every Warp Gate at once and pull both sides through together.

A Paranormal Liberation Front fighter demands to know the price tag on all of it, while the hero facing him mentions they even brought a countermeasure for Decay, promising the entire army is about to be scattered. Heroes begin stepping into their assigned gates when a whip snaps out and yanks Deku sideways into a different one, leaving him and Dynamight equally bewildered.

With the field nearly emptied, All Might hands command of what remains to Fat Gum, who is to capture the stragglers and watch over Can't Stop Twinkling, praised on the spot for selling the bluff. Phantom Thief is ordered to rejoin Eraser Head, since the separation worked and Phase 2 can start.

At the wrecked Gunga Mountain Villa, Endeavor's squad boxes in All For One and a cluster of villains. Hawks drives his Quirk straight at the villain's skull and the mask holds. Endeavor explains the reasoning behind the U.A. Barrier: the Warping they catalogued at Kamino was measurably weaker than Kurogiri's Warp Gate, and they built around that gap. His arrogance, Endeavor says, is what finishes him.

All For One is unbothered. Splitting up was forced on the heroes by their own thinned ranks, he argues, and the pairings are cursed, One For All aimed at Tomura Shigaraki and, worst of all, Shoto pointed at Dabi. He needles Endeavor for handing the youngest son the mess he made while the eldest keeps paying for it.

Tomura lands inside a U.A. High that now hangs in the sky. Dynamight tells Best Jeanist the arrangement has already failed, because Deku never arrived. Deku instead surfaces at an aquarium beside Uravity and Froppy, hauled there by Himiko's whip. Uravity cannot understand why he is with them, and Deku is more unsettled that his Danger Sense stayed silent as he stares her down.

The villains break their cages and it does not matter. The heroes still force every one of them into the Warp Gates and split the army apart.

Fat Gum takes command of the original battlefield, guarding Yuga and handling the villains who were never warped. All For One and one Near High-End Nomu land at the Gunga Mountain Villa ruins against a squad led by Endeavor and Hawks, joined by Kamui Woods, Tsukuyomi, Shishido, Tiger, and Pixie-Bob.

Dabi and a Near High-End go to Kamino for Shoto, with Ingenium and Burnin also deployed there. Tomura arrives at the floating U.A. High, intended to face Dynamight and Deku with Best Jeanist in support, until Deku is dragged off first.

Himiko, escorted by two Near High-Ends, reaches the aquarium to fight Uravity, Froppy, and Gang Orca, having forced Deku along with her for reasons of her own.

Kohei Horikoshi called this one Division, styled in Japanese as Divijon. It runs fifteen pages, published February 28, 2022 in issue 13, and collected into volume 35. Episode 144 adapts it.

Himiko Toga, Dozaemon, and Izuku Midoriya appear on the cover.

The floating U.A. High resembles Sokovia from the finale of Avengers: Age of Ultron in both placement and design. When Deku is hauled toward Okuto Island, Himiko loops her cord around her pinky, a possible nod to the red thread of fate, the invisible string said in Asian folklore to bind destined lovers by that finger.
