Naruto questions Kawaki about Delta, who confirms she is a Kara Inner and orders the Hokage to step aside. He refuses, and after Kawaki warns of an Inner's strength, Delta resolves to kill him. The two trade blows until Naruto forces an opening, but his Rasengan vanishes into Delta's modified eyes. She strikes with a transforming leg like Kawaki's, revealing how heavily her body has been enhanced with scientific ninja tools. Naruto slips into his Six Paths chakra cloak, snaps her leg with chakra arms, and she simply regrows it while branding him as much a monster as herself.

Naruto goads Delta into staying locked on him, keeping the fight away from the children, and asks what Kawaki means to her, though she catches the ploy. She fires back the Rasengan she absorbed and leans on her rebuilt body, so Naruto shears her legs off with a Lava Release Rasenshuriken only for them to reform. Kawaki holds Boruto back, explaining that distance lets Naruto go all out. Delta unleashes regeneration-countering beams from her eyes, using a drone to spot the children and force Naruto to shield them. When she flings Himawari upward and grabs her, Boruto's Vanishing Rasengan is absorbed, and Delta hurls Himawari to bait the beams, but Kawaki blocks them with his transformed arm, leaving her seething.

The episode is part of the Kawaki Arc in the Boruto anime and adapts manga chapters 31 and 32. It aired in Japan on May 9, 2021, and in English on January 10, 2023. Kawaki tells Boruto they are now even over the broken vase after saving Himawari. The opening theme is BAKU and the ending theme is Sign That You Were There.
