Finally

With the seal that once tethered Obito seemingly gone, Minato loses the ability to warp to Naruto and Sasuke, leaving both dangerously exposed. Recalling how his father's jump technique actually functions, Naruto stretches out chakra arms to grab hold of Sasuke and Minato at once, giving the Fourth Hokage the anchor he needs to pull everyone to safety. Dazzled by the boy's quick thinking, Minato turns his focus back to Obito, whose freshly claimed beast is warping his body beyond his command.

A compressed blast of the strange black material shoots out, yet instead of hitting Minato it stops short, swells, contracts, and rushes back into Obito, revealing that he was ripping away the parts of himself he could no longer govern. Minato readies a counterstrike and orders the two boys to chain their attack behind his own. Deep in his own mind, Obito clings to an image of his old squad while the Ten-Tails tries to shred his awareness, and he finally seizes command of the creature, taking on a silhouette that echoes the Sage of the Six Paths, staff and all.

Now fully in control, Obito tears off Minato's arm and forces him to warp clear, but the retreat proves to be a trap. A fragment of the black substance clings to Minato's regenerating body and begins to glow, poised to expand and detonate as it had done moments before, leaving the onlookers braced for disaster.
