Chapter 8 of Blue Vortex splits between hunts and reckonings. Kawaki chases Boruto on Ada's word, Mitsuki wrestles with the love Ada awakened in him, and two God Tree Otsutsuki breach Konoha in search of Naruto.
Rattled by Boruto's demeanour, Ada watches his exchange with Mitsuki while Kawaki presses her to pinpoint Boruto by tracing Mitsuki instead. Brushing off Delta's scolding over how curtly he treats Ada, Kawaki takes the coordinates she provides, roughly twenty kilometres beyond the southern gate, and flies off with Delta trailing behind. Ada asks Delta to watch over him and coolly promises to end Kawaki the instant her feelings fade, to which he replies he will walk away himself once his own aims are met.
Elsewhere, Boruto briefs Shikamaru on the nature of the sentient God Trees and on the fate of those consumed by the Claw Grime. A telepathic link from Kawaki reaches Shikamaru, who confirms with Ino that the channels stay separate before answering it. Kawaki announces he is pursuing Boruto, prompting Shikamaru to quietly tip Boruto off and urge Kawaki to wait for support, advice he ignores. Nearby, Mitsuki confesses to Ada that, even knowing the feeling is manufactured, he is grateful she showed him what love is, and he resolves to hold onto his own sense of self.
The calm breaks when a Claw Grime nears the village and Jura and Hidari emerge from it. Word reaches Shikamaru of two intruders, one carrying a chakra signature like Sasuke's, and Ada belatedly warns that the pair are Ten-Tails. The invaders cut through the gate guards with ease, and Kawaki and Delta arrive to strike at Hidari. Jura shatters Kawaki's modifications and orders him to stay put, sensing tailed beast chakra that he takes for Naruto. As Team 10 and Himawari move to respond, the God Trees intercept them, and Jura is left puzzled to find Himawari rather than the target he expected.
Kawaki sets out after Boruto using Ada's tracking of Mitsuki. Mitsuki thanks Ada for teaching him what love feels like and vows to assert himself. Shikamaru learns of two intruders, one resembling Sasuke, and issues evacuation orders. The God Tree Otsutsuki Jura and Hidari force their way into Konoha, overpower the guards, and clash with Kawaki. Team 10 and Himawari mobilise, and the God Trees move to intercept them.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
