Summary

Worried that Amado's drugs are backfiring on Boruto, Kawaki watches as time freezes for everyone but Boruto, who slips into another encounter with Momoshiki. Momoshiki reveals that the medication is only a delay in his Kāma's extraction, and Boruto remembers that time had also stopped at the moment of Momoshiki's defeat. Dismissing Code as worthless, Momoshiki decides to kill him and claim his Ten-Tails. Time restarts, and he lunges at Code, who barely slips a Rasengan; Momoshiki mocks how far this outstrips Boruto's own command of Kāma, noting Boro never stood a chance, and vows the same end for Code.

Sai alerts Amado that Kawaki and Code are already trading blows, having picked up an unfamiliar chakra signature close to Boruto. Since Code is no sensor, tracking Kawaki so quickly seems odd; Sumire guesses an Outer aids him, but Amado knows of none with such skill. Hopeful that Naruto will handle Code, Sai notices Amado lost in thought and uneasy about Kawaki's next move. Momoshiki keeps hammering Code with Rasengan, and Ada urges a retreat. Code instead pins Kawaki and raises him as a shield, though Momoshiki still needs the boy as a sacrifice.

Calling it an honour to have met Momoshiki, Code moves to withdraw, but Momoshiki compresses a Rasengan into a bullet and drives it clean through him before snatching Kawaki, mocking Code's White Kāma for being unable to absorb jutsu. When Kawaki lashes out despite Momoshiki's demand for respect, Shikamaru's shadow freezes the enemy long enough for Naruto to grab Kawaki, though Boruto is possessed once more. Momoshiki absorbs the shadow technique and breaks loose, and Code seizes Shikamaru as a hostage. Distraught to find Naruto present, Kawaki begs him to run, but Naruto refuses even as Shikamaru shouts for him to strike Code regardless. Momoshiki resolves to help kill Naruto and kicks Kawaki aside, then readies an Ultra-Big Ball Rasengan, only to feel it drain away as Kawaki, recalling Amado's words, absorbs the attack with a Kāma that is nothing but a weapon now that Isshiki's soul is gone, leaving everyone astonished.
