Summary
Konohamaru's Team 7 makes it back to Konohagakure carrying the Thornsoul taken from Matsuri. In front of both Team 7 and Moegi's Team 10, Konohamaru channels that Thornsoul and manages to release Moegi, with Boruto grinning as he observes from overhead. Gaara and Shinki are pulled through safely too, and Moegi comes around while her squad looks on with relief.
In a quieter moment, Sarada finally puts her feelings for Boruto into words alongside Sumire, and the two mend the rift between them. Away from all of this, Himawari keeps struggling to get a firmer grip on Kurama's chakra, and her lack of progress frustrates everyone involved. The chapter closes as Boruto slips into the mental plane and strikes a bargain with Momoshiki, an arrangement too tempting for either of them to walk away from.
