Overview

A member of the Paramecia class, this Devil Fruit gives its owner the ability to summon and shape biscuits freely, turning them into a Biscuit Human. The eater is Charlotte Cracker of the Big Mom Pirates. The name draws on bisuketto, the Japanese rendering of "biscuit," abbreviated to Bisu. VIZ and Funimation title it the Bis-Bis Fruit.

Mechanics

In the manner of other Paramecia fruits, this one produces an almost endless quantity of a single material, here biscuit, which the user calls forth by clapping and then bends to their purpose. Cracker gathers biscuits into towering, moving humanoid figures that appear strikingly alive, along with weapons, chiefly by grinding the material into fine crumbs and powder he can pack and sculpt into any form. He can also work such figures from inside them, bolting on extra limbs as he goes. The biscuit itself is, or can be rendered, as tough as hardtack, and with Armament Haki reinforcing it, serves as brutally durable armor and shielding; even Luffy's Boundman failed to punch fully through a wall of it despite that form's raw strength. Sufficient force will still shatter the biscuit, and water softens it enough to be eaten. Producing it repeatedly wears down the user's stamina, and the constructs can wound their own creator if flung at him hard enough. The clap appears necessary to make the biscuit at all. Otherwise the ordinary Devil Fruit weaknesses apply.

Notable Users

Charlotte Cracker, a gifted craftsman, sculpts biscuit puppets so convincing that many, the World Government included, take one for his genuine self as he hides within it during battle. The puppet magnifies his power, and he can bolster it with added limbs and armaments or spawn outside clones to swarm and overwhelm foes; a dab of special jam even fakes bleeding wounds on the golems. His techniques include Crush Biscuit, which pulverizes the material into ultra-fine crumbs for shaping; Biscuit Hei, the near-limitless hollow warriors he pilots and arms with biscuit copies of his sword Pretzel; and Hard Biscuit, in which he duplicates a soldier's cracker-shaped shields, reinforces each one using Armament Haki, then drives them down to pin a foe against the ground. The anime adds Double Roll Pretzel, a rapid spinning stab from within his Biscuit Soldier armor. Additional puppets, powered by Big Mom's Soru Soru no Mi, patrol Whole Cake Island.
