Fusion sits at the heart of this Paramecia, which lets whoever eats it physically bind with other people to form a single combined body. Within the story the power belongs to Charlotte Newshi, one of the Big Mom Pirates.

Standing on its own, the fruit offers the wielder little, so it works less as a solo weapon than as a multiplier that scales with the company kept.

Joining with others swells the user enormously in both bulk and power. Objects can be folded into the merge as well: when the Charlotte Decuplets combine, the ordinary scythe each of them carries becomes one giant blade, and their individual outfits blend into a single shared garment.

The drawbacks are straightforward. With no companions nearby to absorb, the holder gains nothing, and it stays unknown whether unwilling targets can be dragged into a fusion at all. Since the combined might rests on the strength of every person mixed in, the wielder usually needs several capable allies for the ability to matter. Past that, only the ordinary Devil Fruit weaknesses apply.

Newshi mostly merges with his nine decuplet siblings, forming a giant that swings an oversized scythe and greatly sharpens their shared combat power.

The anime labels the maneuver Gattai. The ten line up side by side in formation, Newshi triggers his power, and the group fuses into one massive armed figure, a move first shown on Cacao Island during the clash with the Vinsmoke Family.
