Shari Shari no Mi

Rotating one's limbs like wheels turning on an axle is the gift this Paramecia hands its eater, who then earns the label Wheel Human. Only Sharinguru, a Marine officer who tangled with the Straw Hats, is known to have swallowed it. In the VIZ Manga the fruit goes by the Wheel-Wheel Fruit, and its prefix traces to sharin, the Japanese word for a wheel. It also holds the distinction of being the first fruit whose name repeats three katakana rather than the usual pair.

The single documented application has Sharinguru whipping his arms around at high velocity, so the limbs become rotary weapons that can pummel a foe. Nothing beyond the ordinary Devil Fruit drawbacks has appeared as a specific weakness, but tough materials seem to resist the assault to a degree. When he brought the spin down on Franky, the cyborg's metal arms held firm, a hint that the rotational force, while a real threat, falls short of overwhelming.

Sharinguru is the fruit's lone eater, and he leans on it almost purely for battle, sending his rotating arms and feet against Franky during their clash. The animated version, however, kept the power hidden entirely: there he simply took up a sword against the cyborg instead. That omission makes the Shari Shari no Mi one of the few fruits whose abilities never once played out on screen in the anime.
